It has been a long while since I’ve fallen in love with every look a designer has presented. The funny thing is I’ve fallen head over heels for Van Noten, a  brand I rarely lust over. I’ll look at his collections and go yeah it’s ok, but this time I was salivating all over my keyboard. I think he differeninates his collection from others this season by adding an allure of ethnic patters contrasting with plaids, and perfect fitting pants. The collection is like a modernized Cary Grant . There is a lot of blk/wht in other collections for SS 2010, but Van Noten’s collection has rich dark colours mixed with a few shades of “Spring” colours like the mustardish yellow cardigan and the orange plaid pants. I love dark coulours myself year around, but I like to throw on bright colours everyone once in a while and this collection embodies my style. I love Dries Van Noten SS ’10 to the fullest and it’s the best I’ve seen.

While driving around Friday my ipod died, so I was forced to listen to the radio. I heard “You Belong With Me” like a million times and I’m going is this on her album?! OMFG I love that song! It turns out the song is totally on “Fearless” and I hadn’t downloaded it. I saw post about it and the vid from my fav music blogs on Bloglovin, but I never checked it out. On top of that I acquired the album by downloading the tracks as they leaked on Ali’s Blog last year. Anyway, I have it now and it’s been on blast mode like three days! Love Dark Haired Bitch Version of Tay Swift!

I was taking a break at work and people always ask me what I’m listening to as if they would know when I tell then. So some loser asked me and I said “Hollywood Undead” knowing he wouldn’t know he they were, and he says “Hollywood Undead?… is that a group?” I rolled my eyes and said “yeah.” Anyway, I love them and this song, it’s like the ultimate fuck u haters song!

Ok I’m back in action! Like I’ve written before, I have been remodeling up a storm and now I’m technically finished. I made a bed and night stand! I just need to do my version of a Jackson Pollock and this abstract piece I’ve conjured up in my head for my blank walls. Now it’s time for art, some reading, and getting ready for Fall semester :( I’ll be posting everything I wanted to last week, but didn’t have time too…

The Jonas Brothers are on the July cover of Rolling Stone. You can definitely tell Nick has grown up, and the other two look the same. The thing that has me going is that they’ve had two covers already in their short career and I read the other day they were no. 1 on the Billboard charts. I’m thinking Disney is having a great time with these guys cha ching$!

I was reading NYMAG’s “The Cut” and the post was about how Kelly Cutrone form “The Hills” fired a intern for blogging about her. The end is my favourite part! “Cutrone let her down gently. For her. “I told her I’m going to sue the fuck out of your family if you don’t take it down immediately and your college tuition is going to seem like a pittance after you face my wrath.” I can just imagine the dumbfounded/shocked look that kid had on their face! Kelly is badass!

I’m so happy for her and her latest success is well deserved! Kelly sounds amazing on the track and live plus her voice on top of Guetta’s beat is a Summer Sensation. For some reason she’s really big in Europe, but has a hard time having solo success here. Anyway, it’s funny to watch her make though faces whenever she’s doing French promotions for the song, because she has the face like WTF are they saying? Congrats to Kelly Rowland for making it to number 1 in the UK and eventually in France.

Lady Gaga Killed the Much Music Awards and I’m hoping and guessing she’ll do the same when she opens the VMA’s this year! I mean like really do we really want Britney to open the VMA’s again? No, so Lady Gaga is the only answer to this years VMA’s and that way I won’t have to wait and watch it on Youtube… on top of that she sings LIVE!
