Dolce & Gabbana Panty Brigade!

Natasha Poly leads the pack of Dolce & Gabbana models down the runway at the end of the SS ’10 show.

Do you think Lady Gaga had some influence over the past two runway seasons? First bold  futuristic shoulders, now the no pants looks from Dolce & Gabbana to Prada…

Best of FW ’09 Ad Campaigns

I saved the best ads for last! I kind of get annoyed at how all the “Fall” adverts spring up everywhere in the Summer, so I didn’t post any ads until September when Fall actually starts. However, I think I’m going to have to get used to the ahead of schedule mindset that’s a part of the industry. Anyway, these are my fav ads of the season and the ones I felt were cool. This season lacked a lot epsecilly in diversity and creativity. There wasn’t one ad that was like WOW! They were mostly hmm ok, but I find these to be somewhat exceptional.

This Etro FW ’09 Men’s Ad look great, the only problem is it’s no where to be found on the internet (not even on their official site). I scanned this one out of GQ and it’s really great looking . On top of that, whoever this guy is, is the black male model I’ve seen in any major FW ’09 Adverts.

A lot of people talked shiz about these Balenciaga ads featuring Jennifer Connelly, but they look fantastic. The funny thing is I didn’t like the collection until I saw the ads and now I’m drawing all of the looks in my pictures. Who cares if her posture is sloppy? It’s like yeah I’m sitting her like a slouch in expensive Parisian luxe and you’re sitting up straight in American Apparel.

Vincent Schoepfer makes cool clothes

Parisian designer Vincent Schoepfer caught my eye with his simplistic cool looks for FW ’09. I like pieces that are no fuss and just cool all on their own instead of crazy prints and logos everywhere. When I look at these pics I see Dries Van Noten mixed with Calvin Klein and that’s kind of amazing. BTW, I need that jacket.

Wake up with this

I really like this gadget and it’s price $69.95. It’s a Sony AM/FM Clock Radio with charging dock for compatible Sony Ericsson phones and Sony walkmans. Like any other dock you can use it to play your music for your phone or walkman. I see that one site states it’s iPod/iPhone compatible, but I don’t see that anywhere on Sony’s website. Get more info here.

Spotted: Chanel Iman all over British and Milan Fashion Week

I haven’t been paying to attention at all to what’s been going on at fashion week. However, I did notice a lot of pics of Chanel Iman around and the one that caught my eye was this one over at designscene. I was like a black girl walking Burberry!

GQ Editorials are getting better

It’s not really an editorial, it’s more like a feature and I guess that’s why they didn’t have it on their website so I had to scan the images. Anyway, this issue surprised me because for one Olivia Wilde is on the cover in a swimsuit for the October issue. Two, this Coats for Under $500 feature wasn’t set against a white or grey back drop as usual! They finally ventured outside of the studio! Oh and Clint Mauro cut his and he doesn’t look slezzy anymore! My top three are the United Colors of Benetton Tweed, the Nautica Military Peacoat, and the Armani Exchange Chesterfield. The funny thing is I don’t really need a plethora of coats because it seldom gets “cold” here in Texas. Our “cold” is like cool weather compared to up north.
