Snow Day
A pic I took before I went school last Thursday. It seems like I had to wait until I was 22 to get for my wishes of snow to be granted. However, now that those wishes have been granted and I’ve had to shovel snow, slip in snow, loose control of my car and not be able to break in snow, the snow can keep it’s ass up north. Oh and I love this post I read on Dallas Dirt. I particulary like “This was taken on Saturday when everyone else’s yard looked like Afghanistan.” Yeah it looked like a “war zone” around town as many people said because of all the fallen trees and power lines!

I’m on Twitter!
I’m actually on twitter now and I cannot believe it! I received a very nice and unexpected email from Atif at porhomme.com and he mentioned that he did not see a twitter link. So I thought and thought and concluded that hey maybe my blog should have a twitter account and now it does! I also want to thank Atif so very much for that email. Just like my comment meant a lot to you your response meant something to me. I came home and saw that and I was like “what?!” So everyone who stops by, please follow me on ethier Bloglovin’ or Twitter, try to comment this year, and check out porhomme.com!

“How about them Cowboys?”
The Dallas Cowboys win 34-14… it’s about time. If they end up going all the way (hopefully) this decade is going to be the new 90′s!

Best Restaurant Indeed
D Magazine named Bolsa one the “The Best New Restaurants in Dallas 2009″ and I have to agree. While Bolsa might not be “new” it sure has grown and made a nice reputation for itself. Also I’m thinking it might be new in the sense that all of Dallas is now hip to to the little joint. Anyway, it’s a great place with amazing food and I’m a big fan of the pulled pork sandwich along with the fresh garden salad, which taste like whoa. I took my my friend there for her birthday back in October and our lunch togteher was only around $21.00. Not only is Bolsa easy on the stomach, its easy on your wallet, so if you’re around the old Oakcliff area stop by Bolsa in the Bishop Arts District.
