I’m really feeling the clothes for once in like 3 years! Their designs were good back in ’04/’05 and one season in ’06 ,then it’s like they fell off. I like the looks and the pictures and the fact they used a white background, it puts more emphasis on the great clothes!
I have major brand phases. In high school it was Ecko, at the beginning of college it was American Eagle, then I switched to Armani Exchange, and now I’m in this Burberry/ Lacoste phase! I blanking love Lacoste! You would think it would be played out after all the years, but it’s still cool, preppy, and fresh. The ads are like way fresh to me now. I was really tired of the blandness of the previous campaigns, with the models jumping high in the sky. So when I saw these I was like wow, plus they were shot by Terry Richardson! So I love Lacoste.

The pic above should have been the poster for Mean Girls! I think these are the last of Givenchy SS 09 ads and I know for a fact they are my favourites. Even in blk/wht they go Bam! So yeah, the Givenchy campaign is the best this season.
Look at how different Lakshmi Menon looks in the Max Mara ad! I like both, because in the one above she looks like she can kick your ass and in this one she looks soft and dainty.

I was a little shocked when I saw this ELie Tahari ad shot by Terry Richardson. Now this looks nothing like his usual old school “porno chic” shots I’m accustomed to viewing.
