I haven’t been paying to attention at all to what’s been going on at fashion week. However, I did notice a lot of pics of Chanel Iman around and the one that caught my eye was this one over at designscene. I was like a black girl walking Burberry!

September is here, and that means my second fav season is right around the corner. Fall is the best and while I’ll miss Summer, I won’t be missing the 100° temps at all. The temps here are already dropping to the 80′s and that’s a pleasant surprise, but with Texas weather you never know. Anyway, all of my favorite ad campaigns will be popping up this week and I thought I’d share what I consider the best September covers.

Above Lara Stone looks amazing and may I say better, on the cover of Vogue Paris. The brunette look suits her and check out the entire spread here.

I already posted about this “epic” cover/editorial, but I must say again how much I love i-D for doing this. The last time we saw all of these girls together was in Italian Vogue, but it was nothing like this. Oh and do you hate when people use “epic” for something that is not even epic in the least bit? I hate that shiz, anyway enjoy the spread here along with the head shots here!

Noah Mills on GQ Style Russia. I wish this was the cover for American GQ and Noah Mills is everywhere right now and he makes a better cover model than Michael Jackson.

Sasha Pivovarova and Ash Stymest cover Vogue Italia and it truly is “Unexpected.” I was waiting for this cover to pop up and when it finally did, I scratched my head. It comes off very Eliaz Dolittle/odd ball comedy, but I like it. See the “unexpected” spread shot by Steven Meisel here.

I was just wondering yesterday, when the September  issue I-D Magazine cover was going to pop up everywhere. Now I no longer have wonder, because it’s here and it’s awesome! First of all Black Girls…Seriously?! On a September Cover?! And not just one stuck in between a bunch of blue eyed blondes?! I think they all should have made  the face Chanel and Sessilee make, because those two look bad ass. Oh, I especially love the ode to chicks from the Robert Palmer video “I’m Addicted to Love” at least that’s what I’m getting from the pic. Can’t wait to see the editorial!

I was anticipating the 59th issue of V Magazine becasue it was the swim suit edition! Well that anticipation has waned (I love that word.) Um it sucks, that’s all I can say and I’m officially over Mario Testino. I think he’s a genius photographer, but it’s come to the point where he has oversaturated the market. Is he the along withe the Demarcheliers, Mert& Marcus’, Inez& Vinoodh’s,Terry Richardson, and Steven Klein the only photographers in the fashion industry? Where is the fresh new talent? I’m certain there is plenty of it. I’m thinking everyone should step down off the stage that they’ve been on for so long and let the newcomers walk across. I want to see fresh pics of the new crop of “Supers” shot by new fashion photogs. Anyway, out of the lamness of that editorial there were some really good shots.

Frankie Rayder’s pic is the best! It’s so dark and sexy. Love Naomi in her vast poses and she’s always fun to look at in a swimsuit. Daria’s pic looks like it could be in GQ and it’s sexy without being vulgar. The Charles guy has the best shot of all the guys despite wearing a trench in the Summer, but hey at least his pubes are hanging out!

The insinuation with the bottle coming out of of Noah M’s speedo lame. Carmen on all fours lamer, but I do like that silver plate thingy around her neck!
