Cheryl Cole “Parachute” Video Premiere
While the song might not be the best pick for a single, I really enjoyed the video a lot. It comes off as a dance and music number from a 1950′s musical film. Cheryl is also going on her first solo tour with the Black Eyed Peas as their supporting act during their European gigs.

Rihanna on iTV’s Cheryl’s Night In
Oh now I really know it’s Christmas time! However, instead of a Girls Aloud Christmas special iTV presented Cheryl’s Night In featuring performances mainly from Cheryl Cole and one spectacular one from Rihanna! Out of all the live performances of “Russian Roulette” that I’ve watched, this has been the best one to date and I actually felt something when I heard her sing this time. The vocals are completely better and there’s an emotional display, but can we do something with the camel toe?

Cool Covers
I’ve been really busy working lately and haven’t had time for anything, but school and work. I just watched Heroes friday night and saturday was catch up on my blogs day. I found this sensational cover of The Killers’ “When You Were You Young” by the Noisettes on mixtapemaestro. While watching the vid, I got chills. Shingai Shoniwa’s voice is divine on so many levels and her rendition of one my fav group’s song is stellar. Watch, download, and enjoy!
I saw this cool cover of Girls Aloud’s “The Loving Kind” on youtube. Absent Elk’s version is way better in the sense that it leaves the pop/electro sound out, and brings the true emotional value of the song into full view. It’s like when “Umbrella” came out it was just a pop song, but when every artist on the planet started doing covers of the song, the depth of the song came out. I like John West and Many Moore’s the best. Good job to Absent Elk!
