Remember how this image above caused quite a stir and Dolce & Gabbana ending up having to pull the advert? Well I must say it’s one one of my favorite campaigns from the Italian duo. Actually, that entire year their campaigns were the shit from the cruise collection ads, to the pre-fall ads that have Chad White in a spinning circle thing that resembles Lady Gaga’s orb getup, and who can forget the controversy of those fall ads depicting  young female models whipping naked men? Not only were the ads great, but the clothes were and still are so memorable. Anyway this campaign popped in my head for some reason… I guess there are not that many good ads this season.

I knew the adverts for Dolce & Gabbana SS ’10 Menswear would drop today and I’m pleasantly surprised. The ads feature the usuals Noah Mills, David Gandy, Adam Senn, and Sam Webb minus Jesus Luiz who isn’t talked about that much anymore… I guess Baptiste Giabiconi is the new it-boy toy. Anyway, the ads shot by Steven Klein look great and while I don’t get them because I’m not familiar with Italian Cinema, they’re intriguing.

Here it is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10! It’s Sony’s first Android phone and it’s part of the Xperia family, which recently produced the Xperia X2. I like this look, but I’m pretty sure it will be out of my price range and you see all the details and specs here. Below are the promo vids for the X10 and the new Dolce & Gabbana Jalou for my fashionable female  readers. I haven’t been paying to attention at all to what’s been going on at fashion week. However, I did notice a lot of pics of Chanel Iman around and the one that caught my eye was this one over at designscene. I was like a black girl walking Burberry!

Yuri Ahn for Dolce & Gabbana’s Swide.com writes that us men should roll up our pant legs this Fall. The thing is I just started doing this two weeks ago. When you wear your pants the “normal” way, your shoes can’t truly be seen and if you have long legs like me your pants get caught under your heel. I started rolling up my fav pair of black jeans so my shoes can be seen and so that I wouldn’t walk on the back of them and now I just read this wow! I like the suggestions and the looks showing how to pull off the look. So instead of walking around campus awkwardly this Fall in skinny jeans, wear nice fitted pants with the legs rolled up and everyone will think you’re old school Princeton man. Read and see more here.
