Did You Watch the GG Season Finale?!

Have you heard about all of the cancellations that the top four networks doing? So many shows have gotten the axe over the past few days, Heroes? Really? Good thing the CW didn’t cut Gossip Girl, but then again why would they? The season finale was superb to the 10th power! After many sucky episodes and boring plot lines, the show heated up with last week’s episode and then last night’s finale went off with a bang literally. I was disappointed with Georgina’s reappearance during the entire episode  until the end episode. Chuck getting shot made me shout out. Chuck about to propose to Blair made me go whoa. Dan punching Chuck equals Dan punching Chuck in the first episode, but better. Serena and Dan getting back together… really? I never expected for the writers to start up that craziness again. Darota having her baby added a feel good moment to the drama packed episode. Poor little J ended up going to Hudson, but she’ll be back. Oh and is Nate the new Chuck Bass? All in all the writers did an excellent job along with the actors and I can’t wait for the season premiere.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively looked amazing at the Met Gala this past Tuesday. I had to post this pic, because as everyone knows I love Blake and think she’s one of the hottest females ever!

Bad Girl Blake Lively on the cover Esquire Magazine

Blake Lively looks really “Michael Jackson Bad” on the February cover of Esquire. In the issue she discusses her similarities with her alter ego Serena Vanderwoodsen and how she and her co-stars deal with multiple projects “We all have so much going on that no one’s really aware of what the other people are doing…Everybody was excited about The Town, but they’re not like, ‘Tell me, how was Ben Affleck?’ ”

Glory to Gossip Girl

I’m in a glorifying mood this morning and no I’m not glorifying the much anticipated (not by me) threesome, I’m glorifying Jenny’s Cotillion experience. The consequence button is being hit hard by the writers and I’m loving it. For every action there is consequence and in this episode Eric lost his precious Jonathan and the threesome partakers will have to look at each other awkwardly the next morning plus what does this mean for D and O’s relationship. Oh Blair needs to stay out of the high school realm of drama and leave Jenny alone. The best part of the episode was when Jenny and her minions walked in the Cedar Lake and GG compare the social hierarchy of the Upper East Side’s Queen B’s to the mob. Oh and there was black girl… well two to be exact! GG mentioned  five families, but I only saw 4 including Little J, but whatever I thought that was interesting and funny. GG writers have stepped up their game and no longer bored with the show and I’m really glad they got Gaga to do a cameo on the show… high ratings next week???

Blake Lively Covers Marie Claire

My favorite “Gossip Girl” Blake Lively covers the December issue of Marie Claire. She looks really pretty and it turns out I have something totally in common with her. I’m the youngest and like Lively I’ve grown up observing my older siblings and helps out when making life decisions.  Lively tells Marie Claire ”As a character, I get to be this wild, outgoing person that I’m so not. I think it all comes from being the youngest of five. I was always observing my siblings and hearing stories about their lives that turned out to be helpful as an actress.” Check out Blake Lively’s Marie Claire spread below!

Blake Lively is Amazingly Beautiful

I watched Gossip Girl today and I give it a B+ at best. The best part of the episode was Blake Lively  in that silver dress! All I can say is, the girl is truly beautiful.

The Most Descent Episode of the Season Thus Far

Last night’s episode of Gossip Girl had all the ingredients of the first hit season, and I must say I was impressed. The past few episodes, I’ve said to myself “when is this shit going to end?”  However,  last night I was like “aww man it’s going off!” This was the hyped episode that featured the much talked about “Gay Kiss” with Chuck and Mr. Ellis, but I knew it would be lame.  So I’m glad that didn’t take away from the real story, Vanessa becoming more and more like Blair! Last season Vanessa pulled some stunt and Nate said something like “you wanted to be like Blair you got it” ouch! Well now she’s at it again, but this time she learned all the backstabbing bull blows up in your face big time. That was the most interesting part the episode, and I love at the end when GG said “misery loves company… well at least for now.” I won’t touch on Vanessa’s mother, and Serena is hot as fire, but does she have to wear minis to a campaign office? Oh and I love how the Vanderbilts have $50,000.00 to waste on trying to sabotage the Buckleys. Oh and the last annoying thing about the episode, why did P.J. (“picture J.R. wearing Earnest Sewn jeans”) have the worst Texas accent ever?! No one talks like that anymore unless they’re from a small town, or a hick suburb. More than likely the Buckleys are from Dallas, Houston, or Austin and that “Texas Accent” is dead for the most part, at least amongst the Texas youth in the mentioned cities. Despite those lame tidbits  Gossip Girl was really good and I loved Blair’s speech and way Chuck looked at her at the end… drama.

Gossip Girl is back to it’s old self

Last Monday, the third season premiere of GG absolutely sucked and their ratings were down. Why? Maybe because the opening episode lacked the originality of the previous two seasons. On top of that the promos sucked and they weren’t like last year’s when they show Nate almost being hit by the guy in the Camero and Serena going “Nate?” and not to forget Blair saying “Damn that motherchuker!” So the usual hype that surrounds the show dwindled in a sense and went to that horrible crap show called Melrose Place. However, the show redeemed itself with it’s latest episode title “The Freshman.” Blair was Blair and Serena was Serena, and surprisingly Dan was cool! I don’t like the Sam character at all and Rufus is kind of lame at handling other people’s kids. All in all it was a good episode and I can’t wait to see “Dan de Fleurette” ! I’m thinking that headbands are out and leather jackets are in during Queen J’s rule !
